The Manor helped raise awareness about addiction on May 16 by participating in Chicago’s On the Table 2017. An initiative of The Chicago Community Trust and in conjunction with The Kennedy Forum, On the Table is an event where individuals engage in open conversations about addiction and mental health. According to The Kennedy Forum, “studies show that the easiest way to help individuals understand mental health and addiction – and to eliminate the stigma – is to talk about it face-to-face. Additionally, conversations inspire action, and help people connect with the services they need.”
