Dr. Chantelle Thomas

Executive Clinical Director

Dr. Chantelle Thomas is The Manor’s Executive Clinical Director and a Clinical Psychologist specializing in addiction treatment, trauma and health psychology. With her experience in trauma work, Dr. Thomas guides the clinical team in the comprehensive assessment and treatment of each guest. Dr. Thomas is also a certified biofeedback practitioner, providing clients at The Manor with an added dimension of insight and discovery helping them better regulate and understand the psychological impact of stress and chronic trauma.

Dr. Thomas began her career as the Program Director for a dual-diagnosis addiction and trauma treatment center in Malibu, California. After receiving her PhD in Clinical Psychology, she completed her internship and post-doctoral fellowship in Health and Rehabilitation Psychology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Mental Health. While there, she gained specialized expertise in medical-surgical consultation, trauma- informed therapy and chronic pain treatment. Through the University of Wisconsin’s School of Family Medicine, Dr. Thomas then joined Access Community Health Center as a Behavioral Health Consultant to primary care physicians where she innovated the development of a substance use disorder consultation clinic embedded within primary care. Her background in research-supported treatment modalities directly informs her ability to ensure the most effective interventions are incorporated into The Manor’s holistic program.

Pam Peckham

Pam is a Certified Advanced Practice Social Worker working in the mental health field since 1994. She is also a substance abuse counselor, a Certified EMDR therapist, a Consultant in Training, a Certified Colorpuncture Practitioner and a member of both NASW and EMDRIA. With extensive experience working with trauma survivors and dual diagnosis clients, Pam provides clients at The Manor with individual and group therapy. She specializes in eating disorders and has previously worked at an eating disorder center. Pam has also been trained in sex addictions, specializing in assessment for process addictions and past life regression therapy. A dynamic presenter, Pam has spoken at schools, conferences, hospitals and on television news programs. She believes that in helping her clients access their own emotional and spiritual beliefs, that they will be able to maximize their personal growth.

Victoria Ariens

Primary Therapist

Victoria has been in the mental health field since 2004 and earned her Masters from the University in Wisconsin-Whitewater in Community Counseling. She has clinical specialties in treating trauma and substance abuse disorders, as well as mental health disorders and is currently completing her EMDR Certification. She has previous experience working with adults with dual diagnosis of persistent and chronic mental illness and substance abuse disorders in a community program. Before joining The Manor’s team, Victoria was a therapist in a women’s’ program focusing on the simultaneous treatment of trauma and substance abuse disorders. At The Manor, she works alongside the Clinical Director providing client treatment and interventions, facilitating clinical supervision for the Associate Therapists and guiding them to conceptualize and execute treatment planning and interventions with clients. Victoria values a healthy lifestyle that includes exercise, yoga, meditation, reading, cooking and spending time outdoors.

Program Director

As The Manor’s Program Director and Therapist, Ryan focuses on building experiential and wilderness-based activities into his treatment experience to facilitate the healing and recovery process. His expertise includes cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based relapse prevention and group experiential therapy. Ryan graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin’s Social Work Program and received the Helen Carey Award in Behavioral Health in the Master’s Program. Before joining The Manor, he was the Primary Therapist at Aurora Health Care’s Opiate Recovery Program and has worked in both residential and outpatient settings. Ryan has also been invited to speak to Southeastern Wisconsin’s youth in schools related to substance abuse education and prevention.

Allycia received her dual Bachelors of Art degrees in Psychology and Chemistry and most recently, her Master’s in Social Work with a focus in Behavioral Health from the University of Maryland. In addition to her volunteer works, she has previously provided case management, facilitated CBT and DBT focused groups and provided individual therapy to both individuals and their families. Allycia is the Program Coordinator and an Associate Therapist at The Manor. As the Program Coordinator, she collaborates with the Program Director to plan and implement the client’s daily schedules and weekly routines. As an Associate Therapist, she works directly with the Primary Therapist to carry out treatment plans, provides weekly individual therapy using the CBT and DBT Models. Allycia’s hobbies include going to the movies, shopping, spending times with friends and family, traveling, drawing and traveling.

Jake has earned his Master’s Degree in Social Work and has received certifications in Substance Abuse Training, Trauma Informed Care and Brainspotting. As an Associate Therapist at The Manor, he facilitates substance abuse and mental health group therapy as well as holds individual sessions for clients. Working with the treatment team, he provides clinical assessments, discharge planning and follow-up care. Prior to joining The Manor Team, Jake has worked with children and adults suffering from co-morbid diagnoses, including autism and behavioral disabilities. Jake has a passion for playing soccer and enjoys coaching and mentoring local youth in local communities.

Clayton obtained his Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling and is practicing as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Training. He holds special training in trauma and is a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor. Clayton is experienced in both the medical and clinical components of addiction, and he has worked in hospice, inpatient and outpatient treatment settings. As an Associate Therapist, he facilitates and co-facilitates group therapy and meets with clients individually to provide case and milieu management.

With a Master’s in Addiction Counseling, Wally is currently a LADC-R Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and an ICRC International Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Prior to The Manor, Wally worked with the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology at Mayo Clinic and Hazelden Betty Ford. Wally’s experience in the recovery community also includes service work in Alcoholics Anonymous, Qi- Gong and outreach to young adults regarding addiction and recovery. Wally enjoys his spare time with family, scuba diving, rock climbing, horseback riding, hiking, underwater and nature photography, shooting, Qi Gong, sailing and motorcycles.

Kristen holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and graduated Cum Laude. Kristen holds certifications in all Wisconsin community-based residential facilities (CBRF) trainings, interventions for clients with challenging behaviors, risk connections-trauma informed care and is certified as a Wisconsin Care Worker and an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). She has previously worked with Milwaukee’s youth in a residential setting and facilitated groups focusing on providing education related to trauma, mental health, substance abuse and other behavioral issues. She has also worked as an EMT, which led her clinical interests in addiction medicine. As a clinical coach, Kristen is able to provide guidance, support and structure during the client’s down time. She volunteers her time to help organize charity events for cancer research and natural disaster recovery and clean-up efforts. Kristen has a passion for storm chasing, photography, baking and cake decorating, interior design, craft, party planning and is a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan.

Krista has earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services Management with extended studies in Psychology and Addiction Treatment. Previously, Krista has worked at both inpatient and residential treatment centers with adolescents and adults focusing on addiction and mental health treatment. She has experience facilitating groups specializing in the 12 Dimensions of Wellness. Krista has always wanted to make an impact on others, which has brought her to the Manor. In her role at the Manor, she is able to provide clients with emotional support and assist clients in clinical work during their spare time. While Krista is not at work, she enjoys art, photography, nature walks and spending time with her friends and family.

Annette has extensive experience within the local recovery communities. She is the founder of Women’s in Recovery, a sober living house for women and children, and she sits on the board of directors for New Day Club. She also has spent time volunteering for 12-step fellowships and Advocate for Women in the prison system. Annette has previously worked as an OWI & Adolescent Assessor, Intervention Specialist, Certified Nursing Assistant and Nurturing Parent Facilitator. Annette graduated with her Bachelor’s in Social Work and has received a gender-based treatment certification. She is also currently working on obtaining her Master Certification in Reiki. Annette enjoys photography, scrapbooking, reading, essential oils and herbalism, spiritual retreats, Native American history, meditation and traveling.

Abigail has experience and clinical specialties in substance abuse and co-morbid mental health diagnoses. She holds certifications in all Wisconsin CBRF trainings, therapeutic crisis intervention and crisis prevention intervention and trauma care. Abigail has previously worked with both adolescents and adults in inpatient and residential settings. She has also facilitated groups focusing in CBT, DBT, mindfulness and meditation. At The Manor, Abigail assists clients in their journey to recovery by being accessible to the clients at any time and by representing the treatment team in many aspects of the client’s treatment. She attended college on a Women’s Softball scholarship and earned her Bachelor’s in Science in Psychology with a Minor in English and Professional Writing. She has several years’ experience coaching youth and helping organize and manage a camp for at-risk youth in Gary, Indiana. Abigail enjoys various fitness activities, cooking, reading and spending time with friends and family.

Ryan has always had an interest in psychology, a positive attitude and a strong desire to help individuals become whole in mind, body and spirit. Ryan has worked in Social Services for 17 years in treatment center facilities and shelters with at-risk children and adults with autism and dual-diagnoses. At The Manor, Ryan provides overall support and direction to clients on their road to recovery. He has earned his degree in Marketing with a focus on Psychology and Sociology. His hobbies include sports and collecting vintage rock ‘n’ roll t-shirts.

As a Clinical Coach, Tiernee provides emotional support to the clients and logistical support to The Manor’s program. She has special clinical interests in historical or intergenerational trauma, addictions, multicultural issues and art therapy. She has a Bachelor’s Degree of Art and is currently working towards her Masters of Art Therapy and Counseling with trauma and substance abuse certifications. Tiernee enjoys running, yoga, kayaking, and campfires and is a novice beekeeper.

Beth enjoys hunting, attending church and participating in ACS Relay for Life through the local community.
